Alber Elbaz reportedly at work on another Converse sneaker project

Alber Elbaz is rumored to be getting back into the sneaker game after teaming up with Converse in Japan on the quiet.

The former Lanvin designer is expected to unveil the new shoe early in 2017, according to a report in WWD and widely circulating in the US fashion press.

The project would be the latest in a string of high-profile launches for the creative, who announced in October that he will be releasing a new fragrance created with perfumer Frédéric Malle next March.

Since his departure from Lanvin last year, he has also teamed up with the cosmetics giant Lancome on a limited-edition makeup line.
