Alice + Olivia's CFDA Capsule

Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet and the CFDA partnered to celebrate art and fashion for the second year in a row.

 
The women’s contemporary fashion brand and the CFDA have selected Jean-Michel Basquiat, through the Basquiat Estate, as the partner for this year’s capsule collection. The capsule, which is part of Alice + Olivia’s Resort 2017 collection, features Basquiat’s art on a long skirt, jeans, sweater, leather jacket and handbag, as well as a primary color palette story throughout.
 
Stacey Bendet, CEO and Creative Director of Alice + Olivia, says, “Jean-Michel Basquiat is one of my favorite artists. This partnership is exciting for me as it is very reflective of my brand and our continued collaboration with artists. It is also wonderful to be able to raise funds for the CFDA and support their ongoing initiatives within our industry that develop new talent.”

The first Alice + Olivia, CFDA capsule collection launched in April 2015 and featured the work of Spanish-American artist Domingo Zapata. Paddle8 auctioned off the artist’s pieces with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the CFDA.
 
The Alice + Olivia, CFDA, Basquiat capsule collection will be available in November 2016 and 50% of the proceeds from select items will be donated to the CFDA.
