Amazon announces 10 days of Black Friday deals & London pop-up

As Black Friday nears, Amazon has revealed plans to open a physical pop-up concept in central London where customers will be able to sample new products and get advice from gifting and lifestyle experts. The pop-up experience will run alongside Amazon’s 10 days of Black Friday deals.

The e-tail said its website will feature ‘deals of the day’ every day from 00:00 GMT on Friday 17th until 23:59 on Sunday 26th November, as well as the flash sales ‘lighting deals’ which offer products at a discount in limited quantities for a short period of time.

Hundreds of products from small businesses and artisans selling on Amazon Marketplace and Handmade at Amazon will be available at reduced prices this Black Friday, from electronics and pet suppliers to kitchen and homeware items.

"This year we have hundreds of small businesses from our Marketplace offering great deals on their unique and creative products, making it even easier to find perfect gifts with our Black Friday sale," said Doug Gurr, Country Manager,

Amazon Prime members will have an exclusive 30-minute early access period to all Lightning Deals, and the e-tailer’s fastest delivery option Prime Now will offer special deals to more than 30% of the UK population.

Gurr added: "We're making Black Friday more fun than ever by holding our first ever Home of Black Friday pop up in Central London and have just released our TV advert which features our iconic boxes having a sing-a-long to celebrate the festive season."

The Amazon pop-up experience will be located at 13 Soho Square, and will run for four days from Tuesday 21st to Friday 24th of November. This is the first time Amazon hosts a physical Black Friday experience in central London.

The pop-up concept will offer a selection of themed workshops from 'foodie fun' to crafts tutorials, host a range of games and showcase Amazon’s Black Friday Sale.
