Amazon rolls out Prime Now to Baltimore and Miami

Amazon is rolling out its "Prime Now" service to Baltimore and Miami, offering customers one-hour delivery on thousands of daily essentials through a mobile app.

After initially launching as a benefit for Prime members in Manhattan, the service will launch in select zip codes in Baltimore and Miami Thursday, available from 8 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Two-hour delivery is free and one-hour delivery is available in select zip codes for $7.99. Amazon has said it will expand into more zip codes in each city soon.

The service will continue to roll out to additional cities in 2015, and all Prime members can download the Prime Now app to be notified when the service is available in their local area.
