Aspinal of London targets Asia in deal with Secoo

Luxury leathergoods and luggage specialist Aspinal of London is targeting major growth in Asia in a deal with Secoo, the local integrated online and offline luxury platform.

Nasdaq-listed Secoo (which only listed on that stock exchange last September) has become the brand’s official online partner for reaching luxury consumers in Asia.

The company announced the news at an event at its Regent Street, London, store. And Chinese fashion blogger and social media influencer Han Huohuo was there to really push the point about how important the Asia-based customer is to the firm and also to unveil the AW18 collection.

Linking up with Secoo is a key move for the brand as the platform is a major luxury player in its region, offering a wide range of products and lifestyle services. It has over 15 million registered users and offers over 300,000 SKUs from more than 3,000 global and domestic labels.

The deal sees Aspinal products being available via Secoo from the current season (SS18) with all items ordered being shipped directly from Aspinal’s London HQ.

And as for the AW18 collection, its theme is built around the Lions of London as well as gems in gold, silver, amethyst, topaz and amber. It includes the Blogger bag, (a cross-body item), and the London Tote (a hand tote), both of which are new launches.
