Wilson heads to Avon from SABMiller where he served as CFO from 2011 to 2015. He joined SABMiller in 2005 as Director of Strategic Projects and held several roles in his 10 years with the company including managing director in Russia and Central Europe. Wilson was instrumental in SABMiller’s 50% share price appreciation and the company’s $11.5 billion acquisition and integration with Fosters.

Prior to SABMiller, Wilson worked at Scottish & Newcastle, Highland Distillers, and Deloitte Haskins & Sells.

Wilson succeeds James Scully as Avon CFO. Scully will continue to serve as Chief Operating Officer through 2017 and will continue to be responsible for the company’s Transformation Plan. As part of its plan, Avon accelerated its cost savings initiatives and improved its balance sheet. The company also established a headquarters in the UK and began transitioning key members of its leadership team to the new headquarters.
