BHV Marais set to open in Dubai

The Galeries Lafayette group has confirmed the information published by FashionMag on 7th January. The BHV Marais department store will indeed establish a flagship store in Dubai! The new BHV Marais will be developed in franchising with ADMIC, a leading retail company in the Middle East belonging to the Abchée family, and is set to open in September 2016.

BHV Marais Dubai will extend over 6,000 m² on two floors and, according to the French group, it will benefit from a strategic position in the heart of the city, inside the 'City Walk' shopping mall.

The store design was created by architect Kristina Zanic, featuring an urban style. It combines materials designed to recreate the Parisian flagship store's atmosphere, and to remain faithful to its specific identity.

Entirely in line with the repositioning of its main store in rue de Rivoli, Paris, the BHV Marais will showcase its fashion and home decoration offerings, ranging from accessible to premium products.

The Dubai flagship store will be the second international opening by BHV, which is already present since 1998 in Beirut, in partnership with ADMIC. It may be followed by further openings planned for the next few years.

In 2016, BHV Marais will also begin to renovate its Parly 2 store, in western Paris, in order to adapt it to the retailer's new positioning and image.
