Barneys New York names Marina Larroudé Fashion Director

Barneys New York has found a new Fashion Director in Marina Larroudé. The former Teen Vogue Fashion and Accessories Director will assume the role of Barneys Fashion Director on January 3, 2017, and she will report to Jennifer Sunwoo, Barneys EVP and General Merchandise Manager of Women’s & Brand Licensing.
 

As Fashion Director, Larroudé will collaborate on the Barneys New York women’s private label ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, and accessories, and she will manage all trend reports for Barneys’ vendors, merchant and marketing teams, which includes mailers, digital lookbooks, social media and TheWindow.Barneys.com.
 
In addition, Larroudé will work closely with established and emerging brands to further elevate the Barneys New York product assortment.

During the two years at Teen Vogue as Fashion and Accessories Director, Larroudé oversaw all fashion content for the magazine and online shoots, and she played a major role in curating trends for the publication and finding emerging designers and talent. Prior to Teen Vogue, she served as Fashion Market Director at Style.com, Market Editor at Men.Style.com, and worked at Temperley London and Vogue Brazil.
 
Larroudé’s hiring follows Barney’s appointment of Josh Lieberman to Executive Vice President of Digital. Lieberman joined the luxury retailer in 2012 and oversaw the Barneys.com and BarneysWarehouse.com revamps, as well as the Barneys New York app on iOS.
