Benefit Cosmetics supports women through Bold is Beautiful philanthropy project

Known for its products with cheeky names and whimsical packaging, Benefit Cosmetics is taking on a serious note with its Bold is Beautiful global philanthropy project for the third year in a row.

In an effort to raise confidence in women, Benefit Cosmetics is donating all proceeds from its Brow Bars through the month of May. Proceeds will go to charities that help support women in the areas of mentorship, education, health and financial stability. “We have always believed that beauty runs deeper than the surface. Our employees and our customers truly embrace our feel-good philosophy and are eager to get involved,” said Benefit Cosmetics CEO Jean-André Rougeot.

Last year, the campaign raked in an impressive $3.4 million. This year, the company hopes to up the ante since it has expanded the program to 16 additional countries outside of the U.S.

Along with philanthropic endeavors, the brand continues to remain relevant (despite being around since 1976) by launching innovative concepts such as the recent addition of a shareable online lipstick tester and a facial recognition-driven “brow translator.”
