Kering has given no further details, only stating that Albert Bensoussan, CEO of its “Luxury - Watches & Jewelry” division, will take over control for the brand in the meantime, pending the appointment of a new CEO, who is expected to be announced "soon".

Before joining Kering, Pierre Bouissou served as CEO of Berluti (LVMH), a brand that he returned to profitability. Prior to that, he served as business unit manager for beauty and skincare products at Parfums Christian Dior. Before joining LVMH, Bouisseau held various development and marketing positions at Laboratoires Pierre Fabre and L'Oréal.

A graduate of the Institut d'Administration des Entreprises (IAE) in Nice and the business school ISA/HEC in Paris, Pierre Bouissou began his career as international product manager for skincare at Unilever in Paris.
