Burberry the first label to launch on Apple Music

Burberry is once again ahead of all the others on the digital front. The British luxury house is indeed the very first to launch a music channel, this Tuesday, on Apple Music. Former CEO of Burberry, Angela Ahrendts, who left the house at the end of 2013 to join Apple, to oversee retail, of course played a role in this unprecedented partnership.

The Burberry musical world will be available at Apple Music


The channel will make it possible to relay the content of "Burberry Acoustic", the platform created by the label in 2010 to share, either via its own site or on YouTube, musical performances by emerging talents.

The luxury house will notably launch a series of exclusive videos of young artists, including Lilla Vargen, Georgie and Rhodes, as well as a musical performance by Alison Moyet, the British singer and composer who will be filmed during the next Burberry womenswear runway show on 21 September in London.

The Burberry channel will be accessible to subscribers of Apple Music in a dedicated section called "Curators". It will present Burberry's original collaborations with emerging British talents, broadcasting musical performances, songs and films all while regularly offering playlists tied with the English music scene, says the house.
