The Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards (CAFA) announced on Thursday Richard Campos and Michael Duhamel as the winners of the Toronto Maple Leafs Fashion challenge.

The fashion design competition, which launched back in July, invited contestants to create a men’s and women’s capsule collection for the Toronto Hockey Team’s Centennial Season. Campos and Duhamel won by public vote. Over 200 designer entries were received.

Campos winning men’s capsule collection was inspired by the Maple Leafs and the city of Toronto where a new Leafs logo was used as the focal point of each design. Meanwhile, Duhamel winning women’s capsule collection honours the history of the Toronto Maple Leafs with a simplistic design aesthetic and a new commemorative championship patch.

Their designs will be produced by sports apparel specialists Mitchell & Ness and sold exclusively at The Toronto Maple Leafs Store.

The collection will be available beginning Fall 2017. Both winners also received a monetary prize of $25,000.
