Canadian fashion designer launches clothing line that gives back

Canadian fashion designer Jacoba Jane announced on Tuesday the launch of her debut collection, titled "Liquid and Shade."
 
The line will consist of six styles in six different colours. Each piece is designed and made in her studio in British Columbia, Canada.

 
"My mission is to create clothing that women cannot wait to wear, with special attention to longevity and timeless fabrics and silhouettes,” says Jane, in a news statement.
 
The designer will also be giving back to the women of Nicaragua. For every Sara top sold, a 12 month sewing course will be given to a woman in Leon, Nicaragua, in order to provide these women with a sustainable wage and a valuable skill.
