Another day, another star-spangled casting as the film festival hit the halfway mark. Sensational gowns worn by Nicole Kidman, Kristin Scott Thomas, Sara Sampaio and a bevy of L'Orealistas led by Sonam Kapoor made up Monday's most magical photocall moments for the screenings of "The Killing of a Deer," "The Meyerowitz Stories" and "Happy End."
Scintillating couture ruled the red carpet on Monday with Sonam Kapoor spearheading the trend. The Indian actress chose yet another Elie Saab dress, going for gold with a plunging neckline and belted full skirt. Kapoor captured her photocall moment on Instagram with the caption "50 shades of slay."
Also singing from the same gilded hymn sheet, fellow L'Orealista Eva Longoria looked a million dollars in a gold tulle-trimmed Marchesa gown.
Tulle was voted fabric of the day -- Nicole Kidman graced the red-carpet in a black and white tutu-inspired dress by Calvin Klein.
Preferring a lacy affair, Portuguese beauty and Victoria's Secret model Sara Sampaio worked white chic in a ruffled see-through gown by Francesco Sognamiglio.
Jourdan Dunn showed some love for the sheer trend as she appeared in a stunning blush gown by Elie Saab with statement strappy neckline and shimmering blue and pale gold silk embroidery.
