Capucci: Mario Dice takes charge of ready-to-wear

A new ready-to-wear line marks Capucci's relaunch. The Italian haute couture label was founded in 1951 by brilliant designer Roberto Capucci, renowned for his sculptural dresses. A Capucci spokesperson stated that the brand is now back centre-stage, with a women's ready-to-wear collection designed by Creative Director Mario Dice.

The Italian designer launched his own Mario Dice men's and women's lines in 2007, showing in Milan outside the main calendar. Dice acquired a wealth of experience working with major labels such as Calvin Klein, Trussardi and Zuhair Murad.

The new Capucci ready-to-wear collection is entirely manufactured in Italy. It took its first steps on the market in the Autumn/Winter 2015-16, and it is about to make a splash this season. The project's details will be unveiled in Milan on Thursday.
