Carlsberg launches a line of beauty products for men

Carlsberg Laboratories, the Research and Development arm of Carlsberg Breweries, has, together with cosmetics producer Urtegaarden, created a series of male grooming products made from real Carlsberg beer.

The limited Beer Beauty edition consists of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, with each product containing 0.5 litres of premium Carlsberg beer freeze-dried and blended with organic ingredients. 

"It is a fact that the natural ingredients in Carlsberg lager – barley, hops & yeast – are rich in vitamin B and silicium – both of which are said to have beautifying properties for both hair and skin," the brewer states on its website.

The products are available for sale directly on the beer giant's website, under the name Beer Beauty. A set including the three products is priced at €63.84 and can be shipped globally.
