Century 21 to open in Florida
Dec 15, 2016
Century 21 is opening its first store in Florida, and its twelfth brick-and-mortar location. The New York retailer will take over a 85,000-square-foot space at the Sawgrass Mills center outside Fort Lauderdale. This is the retailer's first Florida location.
Raymond Gindi, co-CEO of Century 21 department store says, "Through our many years in this business we've been a destination for domestic and international travelers who seek designer brands at incredible values, so naturally Sawgrass Mills was a perfect fit for us. Our proximity to prime tourism areas like Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Palm Beach will create an opportunity for us to engage with a thriving community of locals and leisure travelers alike."
The 55-year-old retailer's new store will feature wide aisles, high ceilings, and state-of-the-art fitting rooms equipped with Century 21’st C21-On-1 complimentary personal stylist program.
A LXR&Co boutique will be set up inside the new Century 21 location, offering guests access to a collection of luxury handbags and accessories. A MAC Cosmetics store-in-store will also be located in the store.
In the past three years, Century 21 has experienced exponential growth. The company opened three stores outside its New York City starting point, located in Philadelphia, Green Acres, and City Point.
