Cherokee Global Brands announced on Monday new multi-category licensing agreements for its Cherokee brand in the US.

The new Cherokee licensees include M. Hidary & Company, Bentex, H.I.S. International and Dreamwave. Each licensee focuses on the design, production, sourcing and sales of children’s apparel, sleepwear and swimwear among others.

Henry Stupp, Chief Executive Officer, said, “We expect these partnerships to be the first of many, as we will be finalizing additional licensees for apparel, footwear, accessories, home textiles and room décor in the near future.”

M. Hidary & Company specializes in the design, manufacturing and distribution of men’s and boy’s casual sportswear, sweaters and outerwear. As per the agreement, the company will service a customer base of national and regional sports specialty, department store, mid-tier and market tier chain stores.

Bendex focuses on the design, production and sales of newborn, infant and toddler boys and girls clothing and it will distribute to value and department specialty stores.

H.I.S. International is an apparel fashion house for girls’ activewear, sportswear, dresses, denim and sweaters. The company will distribute to major retailers across the US.

Lastly, Dreamwave has been signed by Cherokee for swimwear and sleepwear and will distribute to a wide range of department, specialty, mid-tier and mass retailers.

"We are pleased that Cherokee products will continue to be widely available in the U.S. early next year through new wholesale and category-specific direct-to-retail partnerships,” Mr. Stupp concluded.
