Christian Louboutin teams up with SportyHenri.com

Christian Louboutin has created the first exclusive collection for new e-tailer SportyHenri.com, launched in April this year as a one-stop destination for sartorially inclined athletes.

The 4-piece limited edition capsule collection combines the footwear brand’s beloved silhouettes with the site’s clean colour palette of white, cobalt, blue and black. Dedicated to men who love both sport and style, the collection includes new takes on the classic high top SH Bip Bip Flat and low rise SH Louis Junior, as well as the SH One Flat and SH Blue Flat.

All designs are finished with Sporty Herni’s distinctive logo and Christian Louboutin's signature red sole, here in relaxed rubber.

Sporty Hernri’s brand was founded by former French professional athlete Henri Tai. The site offers a unique proposition between shopping and editorial, including world class advice on styling and fit as well as equipment reviews and lifestyle tips from ‘The Gang’ – a group of highly regarded experts in the field such as professional basketball player Tony Parker.

SportyHenri.com features a diverse mix of premium international brands, as well as niche labels from the intersection of fashion and sport, all curated by Tai personally.

“For me, clothes are an extension of myself, they let me express something about who I am, about my personality, but also they let me explore it. It is this vision that I want to bring to life with SportyHenri.com, and here it takes form through this wonderful capsule collection of trainers by Christian Louboutin, which I feel very privileged to offer our clients exclusively," says Tai.

This is not the first time Christian Louboutin and Henri Tai come together for a project. The friends worked together on the Rio 2016 ceremony wear for the Cuban Olympic Team.

Louboutin’s capsule collection for Sporty Henri’s will be available from September 14 online at SportyHenri.com and at select Christian Louboutin flagship boutiques including New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Seoul, Dubai, Tokyo and Beijing.
