Cleverhood launches Indiegogo campaign

Outerwear brand Cleverhood launched on Wednesday an Indiegogo campaign to support its new line of rain capes baptized Cleverlites.
 
The new waterproof Cleverlites were designed for easy mobility and utility for peopled in livable cities. They are currently available in two fabric types with solid color options. The capes also have special features for bike commuters.

 
The Indiegogo campaign will help the company initiate the production of the new rain cape with garment workers based in Fall River, Massachusetts – near Cleverhood’s head office.
 
"It's a big advantage for us to work so closely with skilled apparel manufacturers," says Susan Mocarski, Cleverhood head, in a news statement. "Our garments are designed for style and utility with an emphasis on craftsmanship. We've spent years trying to avoid the autonomy and lack of control that can be part of the big off-shore fashion world.”

Cleverhood is currently based in Providence, Rhode Island.
