Last month, Amsterdam-based clothing brand Sandwich opened its first Canadian store in Montreal.
The 1,400-square-foot store was designed to reflect the brands current DNA, which is cozy and welcoming. Located at 1007 Laurier Avenue West in the city’s Outremont neighbourhood, the store carries the brand’s full line of apparel and fashion accessories including shoes, bags and scarves.
Though Sandwich is currently available in Canada through multi-brand retailers across the country, the new boutique will help reinforce the brand’s presence in the Canadian market, says David Benatar, the foundor of Sandstyle, in a news statement.
Sandwich was founded in Amsterdam in 1981. It specializes in womenswear geared towards the 40-plus age demographic. In Canada, Sandstyle has been the brand’s exclusive distributor since 1994.
