Coach re-enters Russia with BNS Group

After exiting the Russian market in 2011, Coach is re-entering the country through a new partnership with distributor BNS Group.
The first step in the new partnership will be to open a flagship shop-in-shop in Russian department store Gum in late January, 2018. Four more branded Coach stores will open in Russia from 2018 through 2021.
When Coach exited Russia in 2011, the only representation of the brand that remained in the country was via multi-brand and online stores. The new distribution agreement awards BNS Group the rights to retail and wholesale sales of Coach, as well as the authority to develop an official online presence for Coach.
Denis Bogatyriov, BNS Group CEO, commented, "We believe the brand has incredible potential in the Russian market."
Coach International Vice President Alessandro Zamuner added: “We’re confident that our Modern Luxury store environment, showcasing Coach’s rich heritage and commitment to craftsmanship, along with the latest designs by Creative Director Stuart Vevers, will be embraced and coveted by the fashionable Russian consumer.”
As previously reported by FashionNetwork.com, the agreement between Coach and BNS Group will run for a duration of five years.
