Cone Denim celebrates 125th anniversary with Current Elliott

With a history going back 125 years, Cone Denim is part of the denim tradition. It was created in 1891 in North Carolina, USA, where it still operates a manufacturing plant in White Oak, Greensboro, which produces selvedge denim.

Cone Denim operates manufacturing facilities in China and Mexico too, and offers denim brands its expertise in natural indigo, its fabrics developed with an eco-responsible approach and a series of performance materials. The company is a supplier to several denim labels, including Nudie Jeans, Volcom, G-Star and Uniqlo, for its 'Made in America' line.

To celebrate its 125th anniversary, Cone Denim has created a collection in collaboration with Californian label Current Elliott. The US premium jeans brand wanted to highlight Cone Denim's know-how, and its creative teams, busy launching their men's line too, have designed unisex, straight-cut  jeans with a button fly.

The Wonderland company, based in Henderson, Kentucky, took care of the jeans' washing and manual sand-papering. The line features a 'classic fling' and a 'stiletto' fit for women, and a slim and straight one for men.

The collection will be available in November 2016 on the label's website and at selected retailers worldwide, including Brick & Motor in Venice, California. Current Elliott is also distributed in Europe, notably in France.
