Los Angeles-based fashion label Daniel Patrick is set to open its first East Coast store in New York City at 96 Grand Street in SoHo.
Daniel Patrick is chronicling the SoHo store opening by sharing photos of the store’s progress on Instagram. The new store will join the brand’s Melrose store in Los Angeles, which opened in March 2016 after the brand moved to a new headquarters in Los Angeles. The Melrose store is the brand’s second retail location that replaced the Broadway store in Downtown Los Angeles.
Patrick, who was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, moved to the US in 2011 and launched the knomadik by Daniel Patrick line in 2012 with his wife, Jenny. He was inspired to design his first collection after spending time in Los Angeles and New York City in 2009.
The Daniel Patrick brand produces each collection by hand from start to finish using materials sourced in Los Angeles. The brand recently expanded to womenswear, kids and denim, and collaborated with rapper Tyga on a capsule collection, which is available at the Daniel Patrick Melrose store.
Daniel Patrick and knomadik are currently available at over 50 global fashion boutiques.
