David Yurman promotes Carol Pennelli to President

David Yurman promoted fifteen-year company veteran Carol Pennelli to President. In her new role she will oversee all functions outside of design and creative, reporting directly to the company's eponymous co-founder, chairman, and CEO.

Pennelli was most recently the chief commercial officer for David Yurman. In that role, she oversaw all commerce channels, profit and loss, and general performance for retail, wholesale and digital. 

Before starting her fifteen-year stint at David Yurman, Pennelli was the senior vice president of sales, education and global special events at Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. She holds a bachelor's degree from Northeastern University, where she studied marketing and international business.

In a release, Yurman said, "Carol has been critical to our business's growth across all commerce points, and has a unique and deep understanding of our brand," before going on to share his belief that the brand is well-positioned for growth under her leadership.

Pennelli said she looks forward to "fostering an environment that seamlessly unites functions," and elevating innovation and business, an environment that she thinks is inherent to the David Yurman brand.

Her appointment is effective immediately.
