Delpozo names new CEO

Spanish designer brand Delpozo, part of PYD Group, has announced the appointment of Carlos Trolez as its new CEO.

He is the son of Pedro Trolez, chairman of the brand since it was purchased by Perfumes y Diseño SA in 2012.

On January 11, the Official Gazette of the Mercantile Registry reported the appointment of Carlos Trolez as legal representative of several PYD brands including Delpozo. The brand, which shows its collections in New York, confirmed the appointment and said Trolez will be joining on an interim basis.

The Madrid-based business is led by creative director Josep Font, who has managed to attract an international clientele by fusing sculptural styles with delicate motifs.

Delpozo has been without a CEO since the departure of Ainhoa García in January 2015.

Perfumes y Diseño SA is a Madrid-based group of companies chaired by Pedro Trolez. The group creates, develops and distributes its own perfume brands including Tous, Desigual, Stark and Roberto Verino, and also distributes 14 brands including Salvatore Ferragamo, Annick Goutal and cosmetic brand Ahava, in Spain and Portugal.
