Dennis Basso to open first outlet in New York City

BFC Partners on Thursday announced that Dennis Basso will open his first outlet store in New York City at Empire Outlets in Staten Island.

 
Dennis Basso, who is known for his furs, eveningwear and bridal dresses, will offer his ready-to-wear couture, accessories and extensive collection of furs at the store. The 2,138-square-foot leasing transaction follows the addition of jewelry exchange Jewelers on Fifth at Empire Outlets. Dennis Basso will also join Nordstrom Rack, White House Black Market and other brands at the outlet project.
 
With the new addition, the outlet project is currently 60% leased.

Empire Outlets is multi-million dollar outlet mall project that will include 350,000-square-feet of retail space, a 190-room hotel and a 40,000-square-foot food and beverage deck. The BFC Partners project will be located at the St. George Ferry Terminal adjacent to the New York Wheel.
