The American designer has created a collection of purses, keychains and patches inspired by the iconic 1990s Nickelodeon show. The collection will be sold on BoxLunch.
Danielle Nicole earned praise for her Disney-inspired handbag collection, which featured handbags and backpacks emblazoned with iconic Disney princesses and characters such as Snow White and Tinker Bell. Now, the designer has returned to another nostalgic source of inspiration with her upcoming Rugrats collection.
Inspired by the popular animated children’s show, the Rugrats collection will feature a purse in the shape of Angelica Pickles’ face, a Reptar clutch bag and a keychain in the shape of Angelica’s favorite doll, Cynthia.
The first rollout of the collection will launch on Friday, July 14 on BoxLunch’s online store. BoxLunch operates both an online shop and brick and mortar stores in multiple states. It sells novelty-themed apparel and accessories, with the organization donated one meal to local food banks for every $10 spent on its products. Further products from the collection will launch later in the month.
Danielle Nicole was founded by Danielle DiFerdinando in 2006 with a line of handbags and expanded to jewelry in 2015. The line is sold at stores such as Nordstrom and Macy’s and at local boutiques across the United States.
