Desigual continues to expand in all directions. After opening a second flagship in Paris, the Spanish brand announces the launch of its online store. By the end of the month, all collections, except kidswear will be available to purchase online. The shopping site will be tested initially in Spain, France, Great Britain, Germany and the Netherlands. In 2011, other international markets will be added to the list.

Keen for interactive advertising, Desigual is going to invite online shoppers to participate in a digital flashmob to celebrate the event. Surfers on the site who leave positive comments on certain blogs will receive discounts. "We want to launch online since our Internet community has such an influence through important blogs," says the brand.

Desigual is looking forward to crossing the 450 million euro turnover bar this year, making it at least a 50% increase in sales over one year.
