Disney Springs to host popular brands in final phase of expansion doubling retail footprint

Disney Springs, a part of Walk Disney World Resort, announced today that it will add 30 new tenants to its roster, primarily retail stores and dining venues. Sephora, Anthropologie, Lacoste, Under Armour, kate spade, Free People, Sperry and Lucky Brands are a sample of the many options shoppers will have. Stores are slated to open in phases beginning May 15.

"Disney Springs has quickly become a favorite destination for our guests and they are going to love what's to come," said George A. Kalogridis, president Walt Disney World Resort. "Guests will enjoy an experience unlike any other in Central Florida with even more opportunities to shop in unique and distinctive stores and enjoy world-class dining.”
 
New options for dining will also be opening at Disney Springs beginning this summer, including D-Luxe Burger, Amorette’s Patisserie and Tablas Frontera, among others. In addition, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, where childrencan be dressed up like their favorite Disney princess with the help of their own Fairy Godmother-in-Training, will be relocating to Disney Springs.

Disney Springs is part of Walt Disney World Resort. Nearing completion in 2016, Disney Springs has been undergoing the largest expansion in its history to double and diversify its shopping, dining and entertainment offerings. Expanding from 75 to more than 150 shops, restaurants and entertainment venues, Disney Springs has a positive economic impact on Central Florida by creating an estimated 1,200 construction jobs and nearly 4,000 operational roles.
