Estée Lauder makes executive leadership changes

Estée Lauder announced leadership changes at Jo Malone and Origins. Jean-Guillaume Trottier has been promoted to Global Brand President of Jo Malone London and Julie Van Ongevalle has been appointed to Senior Vice President/Global General Manager, Origins.



 
Trottier assumed the role of Global Brand President on July 1, 2016 after serving as Global General Manager since 2012. Under his leadership, Jo Malone doubled its brand sales, successfully launched in Brazil, Korea, China, Israel and the Philippines, and solidified its positioning in the luxury sartorial lifestyle space. As Global Brand President, Trottier will continue to report to John Demsey and serve as a member of the company’s executive leadership team.

Ongevalle will assume the role of SVP/Global General Manager, Origins on October 1, 2016. She joined the company in 2004 as Marketing Director, Clinique, Benelux and most recently held the position of SVP, GM of MAC, North America. In her new role, Ongevalle will report to Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Group President, and she will join the company’s executive leadership team.
