Express increases Board to eight directors with appointment of Terry Davenport

Express announced on Thursday the effective appointment of Terry Davenport to its Board of Directors as a Class III director. The appointment increases the size of the Board from seven directors to eight directors.

 
Davenport, who currently serves as Global Brand Advisor for Starbucks, has held several senior leadership roles in brand building, marketing, advertising and retail design. He joined Starbucks in October 2006 as VP of Brand Strategy and Consumer Insights, and he served as SVP of Global Creative Studios, SVP of Marketing and Category for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and SVP of Marketing for the U.S. before being named Global Brand Advisor in 2014.
 
Prior to joining Starbucks, Davenport held senior brand leadership roles at YUM! Brands, PepsiCo. and Omnicom Agencies, and he started his career at BBDO in Dallas and New York City.

In August, Express increased its Board size from six directors to seven directors with the appointment of Karen Leever as a Class III director.
