Feldspar Brook & Co. has opened its first ever flagship store on Thompson Street in Manhattan’s SoHo. To celebrate the launch of the store and the brand, it is holding a launch party this Tuesday July 28th.

Created by a small and unique team of industry professionals in New York City and launched this July, Feldspar Brook is inspired by the origins of the Hudson River, and is named after the Feldspar Brook trickling stream in upstate New York. Its inaugural collection consists of 27 polo shirts in different hues and shades.

The company specializes in polo shirts made of pure 100% Egyptian Pima cotton designed in New York and produced with F&I (Fashion & Innovator) Korea located in Seoul, South Korea. Feldspar Brook uses SIRO spun 44/2-piqué fabric with a cotton count of 44—traditional single knit t-shirts have a cotton count between 20-40. Each shirt consists of features and details like locked-stitched, mother-of-pearl buttons, vintage inspired placket positioning and flat-fell French seams.

“We certainly had the tools and inspiration to build a luxury cut & sew knitwear brand but that wasn’t enough,” said Robyn Roberts, Writer/Editor of Feldspar Brook. “We couldn’t simply create The Perfect Polo and not build a brand/company around that same ecological and conscious mentality. We cared deeply about this new life we were breeding and wanted every aspect of Feldspar Brook to reflect that.”
