Streetwear fashion retailer Footasylum has chosen shopping centre Centre:mk in Milton Keynes for its newest UK store.
Launched this week, the 4,992 sq ft store is located on the ground floor at at 66 Midsummer Arcade, adjacent to Swarovski. It stocks the brand’s wide range of footwear, clothing and accessories including products from leading sportswear giants such as Nike and Adidas.
"With a large catchment area and location in the heart of Milton Keynes, Centre:mk was the perfect and obvious destination for our new store. Centre:mk benefits from an impressive footfall, as well as increased investment and regeneration in the centre which only adds to the experience further," said Footasylum head of retail Glen Dickinson.
The brand, established in 2005, has more than 40 high street stores across the UK.
It joins a string of retail and fashion brands at the shopping centre including new tenants at the recently completed premium quarter Sunset Walk, Kiehl's, Molton Brown, The White Company and Pandora.
Centre:mk joint owners Hermes Investment Management and AustralianSuper have also recently announced a £60 million investment programme for regeneration at the mall over the next three years.
The programme includes the creation of new facilities such as a multi-levelled car park and a service lounge, as well as investment for digital initiatives such as a shopping centre app.
