Forever 21 launches 90s-inspired Summer 2016 collection

Leading apparel company Forever 21 debuted its on-trend Summer 2016 collection and campaign globally last week. The collection, which takes cues from the nineties, features acid washed denim, temporary tattoos and the classic gray hoodie.

Forever 21 often finds inspiration from music. The Spring 2016 collection courted the boho-style festival-goer whereas the Summer 2016 campaign borrows straight from classic rock. The Summer campaign features Pyper Smith and Daisey Clementine, sisters known for their "surf rock" band, The Atomics, and growing fame in the modeling industry.

For women, Forever 21 offers up grunge-punk trends, tattoo choker necklaces, cropped cuts, tie-dye, daisy and sunflower prints, acid wash denim and overalls.

The men's collection features denim with basic tees, marled gray hoodies and distressed denim in jackets, jeans, shirts and shorts.
