Launched as a menswear brand in 2012, the Montreal-based company expanded into womenswear last fall with the launch of their first women’s line on September 20, 2016. The collection was launched online, but has since made its way into select stores and has become a permanent Frank + Oak offering.
“Since launching our womenswear line last fall, we have received incredible feedback on the fashion needs and style ethos of our female community,” says Ethan Song, co-founder and CEO of Frank + Oak, in a news statement. “Footwear has a big impact on how individuals express their personal style. Since adding it to the men’s collection, it has become a big part of our brand offering, allowing us to fulfill all of our clients’ wardrobe needs. Bringing this now to our women’s collection completes the line, allowing our customers to create head-to-toe looks.”
The women’s footwear line described as “functional yet stylish” and “ideal for the entrepreneurial, confident woman” will include; the Park, a laid back low-top sneaker retailing at $155 CAD; The Marina, a leather loafer retailing at $125 CAD; the Gallery Block Heel Pump and Boutique Classic Pump, a pump available in leather or suede, and retailing at $130 CAD, as well as other summer styles.
Select styles of the collection are now available online and in-store at their Montreal and Vancouver flagship locations, while additional drops are planned to take place throughout the spring.
