The second French-American Luxury symposium, organised by the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and New York's French-American Chamber of Commerce, will be held in Paris on 5th May. Its keynote will be 'volatility, disruption and fashioning the future'.

A day of reflection on the role of the creative professional - DR

The event will assess the state of play of the luxury industry in the USA and France, looking into emerging segments and new trends. Ample space will be devoted to innovation in the luxury industry, from marketing to design, retailing, data analysis, omni-channel strategies and sourcing. Social media and the impact of new technology on the luxury business, as well as the profile of tomorrow's consumers, will feature in the analysis. The symposium will also include a round-table discussion from the perspective of US and French brands and luxury industry experts.

"The event's objective is to bring together a host of leading brands and industry experts to analyse the most relevant challenges facing the luxury sector today, at a time when new technology is having an increasingly significant impact on the industry, said Elsa Berry, President of the French-American Chamber of Commerce in New York. Also, the symposium is designed to encourage links between innovative French and US brands and those experts who can support their expansion on both sides of the Atlantic." The event will be hosted at the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Avenue de Friedland, Paris, from 9.15 am to 6 pm, with networking opportunities during lunch and evening drinks.
