By opening on Tuesday 6th October its first Parisian boutique in rue des Blancs-Manteaux, Fusalp has given itself a national and international showcase.

In addition to opening this 110 m² showcase in the heart of the Marais tourist area, the high-end ski apparel brand, which still generates only 15% of its €8 million revenues through exports, is multiplying its contact points with foreign customers. After entering the Le Bon Marché department store in Paris, Fusalp featured its skiing outfits on the Net-à-Porter website, thus reaching out to consumers in Europe as well as Asia and the USA.

Fusalp is now available in some thirty retail outlets worldwide, after recently returning to the Japanese market, and wishes to strengthen its position in the UK and the USA, where it's now seeking a distributor. "Our largest multi-brand store presence is in Aspen, Colorado," pointed out Alexandre Fauvet, Fusalp's CEO.

Fusalp is also bolstering its retail network on the French domestic market, which accounts for 85% of its operations. The brand will open three franchised stores in the Megève, La Clusaz and Arc 1950 ski resorts. Also, Fusalp will transform its directly-owned Verbier (Switzerland) store from seasonal to all-year-round.

Another project for the 2016/2017 winter season is the development of teenager and junior lines, and of baby items. Fusalp also wants to work on NoPanik, its more accessible children's brand, which will be available in 200 retail outlets in France.
