Giant Tiger introduces Levi Strauss in store

Canadian-owned family discount store Giant Tiger Stores Limited is extending its apparel brand offerings with the introduction of the Signature by Levi Strauss & Co brand. The new apparel offering is Giant Tiger’s latest move in its commitment to transform its fashion categories.
 
"The introduction of the Signature by Levi Strauss & Co program to our over 225 stores is the next step in our retail fashion evolution," explains Brian Hession, VP Softgoods & Footwear Buying at Giant Tiger, in a news statement. "We recognize that our customer is time-starved, so it's important we present the right mix of house brands and trusted national brands.”
 

The new brand offering includes Signature by Levi Strauss & Co in Relaxed Straight fit and Regular fit for men. As the retailer continues to reinvent its fashion categories, the introduction of the denim line is the company’s first phase of its men's wear relaunch.
 
Giant tiger has been transforming its fashion offerings since last year with the relaunch of its women's wear in spring 2016 and its children's clothing lines in the fall of 2016. Its women’s wear and children’s wear relaunch saw the introduction of three new house brands in each category.

The complete relaunch of Giant Tiger’s men's wear is expected to be completed in early fall. If the company will follow in the same steps as its women’s and children’s categories, we can expect the introduction of new men’s wear lines as well.
