Google to launch concept store for YouTuber-originated products

The video website will launch a physical shop in London called 'Creator Store', selling products originating from the most famous UK and international YouTubers. It will be a first of its kind.

The future Creator Store - psfk

The store will sell t-shirts, pictures, mugs and books, and a question mark has been raised concerning the presence of some of the website stars' partner brands. The concept store will be located close to King’s Cross Station, not far from London's YouTube Space, an area dedicated to YouTubers, providing training and tech support for their activities. Some of the same opportunities will also be available in the store, which will feature studios and cameras.

It is therefore conceivable that, if the shop is successful, the concept will be replicated in other major cities featuring a YouTube Space, such as Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, São Paulo, Tokyo, Mumbai and Berlin. And also in Paris, where a YouTube Space was installed with great fanfare nearly a year ago at Google's headquarters, in the 9th arrondissement.
