Haggar CEO Michael Stitt stated in a release, "The acquisition is both synergistic and strategic, and aligns with our core competencies and strategic priorities."

As part of the acquisition, Ed Srsic, Louis Raphael's president and chief operating officer, will join Haggar to lead the business. Stitt explained that Srsic will ensure "continuity and leadership" in the Louis Raphael brand.

Haggar currently makes the top-selling men's dress pants and has a range of other top-selling pieces across the category. Louis Raphael has operated in the men's pants space for forty-six years. Its founder and CEO, Bill Kim, called the company his "life's work."

Haggar will transfer Louis Raphael's business from its current Bay Area offices and distribution center to Haggar's headquarters in Texas. The transition to the Dallas office and Fort Worth distribution center will complete by the end of June.
