Haxby Menswear is reclaiming retail pricing and showing its results by releasing a $40 pair of premium jeans that are made in Los Angeles.
The jeans are made from Italian and Japanese denim and come in three washes and three cuts. They are constructed entirely in LA.
"The traditional retail model is broken and outdated," says Haxby CEO, Mike Dow.
He continued, "Currently, the creators (brands) take all the risk, while the customer ends up paying 3 or 4 times more for the product than they really should - all due to the retailer's giant markup. It just doesn't make sense in today's connected, online world. We are here to change that. Our new mission is simple: to enable the "everyday guy" to achieve an elevated look, without breaking the bank."
To that end, Haxby is breaking luxury price point norms across categories. The $40 premium denim launch is the first to kick off Haxby's campaign of extremely well priced luxury pieces. To come next month include suiting made in Japan that will retail for $395, Italian-made outerwear starting at $299 and Swiss-made accessories starting at the value price of $45.
Tim White, Haxby's Creative Director, explained, "We kept asking ourselves: 'why can't elevated be accessible?' The answer is, it can. We combined our passion for design with premier manufacturing and materials, to offer elevated classics, from casual to formal, that every guy can relate to... To us, this is the future of menswear."
With the launch of the $40 premium denim, Haxby promises consumers elevated menswear with premium craftsmanship at incredible prices. The denim is available now online.
