Herno: new store openings in Moscow and New York
Italian fashion label Herno has opened its second mono-brand store in the Russian capital, a 60 m² space located on Stoleshnikov Lane, Moscow's fashionable pedestrian area.
The store's interiors and furniture showcase the brand's distinctive style, with combinations of natural materials and a unique hook system for hanging the garments on display. The walls are upholstered in slate and flannel, alternating with large, back-lit flannel strip panels, which look like contemporary art works and give the store a museum feel.
The latest opening brings Herno's total number of new mono-brand stores, shop-in-shops and department store retail corners in 2016 to ten: a store in Kiev, two retail corners in Busan and Hanam, South Korea, three retail corners in the USA (in New York and Boston) and two in Kazan, Russia. A flagship store is also set to open soon in Seoul.
Altogether, Herno operates twenty eight directly owned stores. The new openings represent another major step forward in the label's consolidation strategy, making Herno increasingly a benchmark in the luxury sportswear segment.
