Indochino to open its first showroom in Seattle

Vancouver-based made-to-measure menswear retailer Indochino is set to open its first showroom in Seattle on November 10.

Located at 1801 5th Ave, the 4,371-square-foot space is set to be Indochino’s largest showroom to date and is conveniently located at a busy intersection in the city, close to Nordstrom and Westlake Center.

"We have a strong affinity with our neighbors south of the border, with thousands of online customers and hundreds more who travel north to take advantage of our Canadian retail locations," said Drew Green, CEO, Indochino. "We're looking forward to introducing our experiential approach, innovative product and accessible price point to the next generation of Seattleites."

With its "Made for You" shopping experience at Indochino showrooms, customers are paired with a Style Guide to take measurements, assist with fabric selection and more. Each garment is made-to-order and delivered in approximately four weeks.

Seattle is the eighth Indochino location to open in major North American cities this year. Earlier this year, Indochino opened a second location in New York, a location in Washington, DC, and at the King of Prussia Mall outside of Philadelphia.

The retailer plans to double its store count to 17 locations by the end of the year.

Indochino first launched in 2007 as an online retailer. It opened its first brick-and-mortar location in its home city of Vancouver in 2015. The company finished 2016 with 54 percent year-over-year growth.

The Seattle showroom launch will open with Indochino's Black Friday pricing.
