I.N.C International Concepts announced on Monday an exclusive partnership with Iris Apfel launching exclusively at Macy’s in September 2016.

Iris Apfel

The exclusive Macy’s brand teamed up with Apfel to develop the Iris Meets I.N.C collection, which consists of 40 pieces of mod-inspired clothing and jewelry. The style icon consulted with I.N.C’s design team and provided creative direction before curating the final selections for the collection. The Iris Meets I.N.C collection focuses on wardrobe staples like shift dresses, A-line skirts, flare leg pants and statement jackets, as well as black and white bangles.

To promote the collaboration, Apfel will star in an advertising campaign, which will break in August, and I.N.C will launch a limited edition keyboard of Iris-themed emojis.

Apfel has reinvented herself throughout her long, illustrious career that began in 1950 with textile company Old World Weavers, which she founded with her late husband Carl. She was also an interior decorator at the White House and a writer for Women’s Wear Daily, and in 2005, she was honored with an exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is now on tour.

Apfel collaborated on collections with MAC and Wisewear and appeared in campaigns for Kate Spade, Blue Illusion and most recently for luxury kitchen and bath retailer Pirch.

The Iris Meets I.N.C collection will launch exclusively at Macy’s stores and the Macy’s website.
