J.Lindberg expands US e-commerce footprint

Swedish fashion brand J. Lindberg is setting itself up for a huge North American expansion.
After a banner year for online sales in 2015 and an anticipated growth in 2016, the brand is eyeing digital expansion into North and South America. Over the 2017 and 2018, the brand anticipates that its new digital expansion into North America will boost both its overall online sales 100%.
"Our success has been driven by well-executed strategies starting with a re-platform in summer of 2015”, said Jonas Andersson, President of US Operation, "Controlling our own destiny by bringing e-commerce in-house, hiring a Director dedicated to its growth, and partnering with eCommerce solutions provider BestRetail, has been a formula for success."
The brand just launched into the Canadian market, starting with an online platform for the Canadian consumer. "We believe there is a huge opportunity to capture the Canadian market,” said David Feiner, acting Director of eCommerce. “We see the online channel as a catalyst. We look forward to quickly expanding into these new territories."
The fashion house, based in Sweden, focuses on men's and women's sportswear, as well as golf and skiwear for both genders. It is currently is sold in 35 different countries, including three brick-and-mortar locations in New York and Florida.
