Jason Scott opens New York City flagship location

Jason Scott on Tuesday opened its first flagship store located at 48 8th Avenue in New York City’s West Village neighborhood.

 
The 500-square-foot store carries the menswear brand’s full knitwear line and spring collection, as well as styles from brands such as Garrett Leight California Optical and Frame Denim and publications, Man of the World and Kinfolk Magazine. The New York City flagship also offers private styling appointments in a space hidden behind a bookcase.
 
The Jason Scott spring collection consists of crewneck and v-neck t-shirts, henleys, sweatshirts, shawl collar cardigans, sweatpants and elastic waist trousers, all available in Pima cotton.

Designer, Jason Mandler took to social media to chronicle the store’s build out culminating in a final post about the official opening. The Instagram post reads, “Today we officially open the doors to our first retail store in the West Village.  This is something I always imagined when we launched a few years ago. To have it come to life is surreal.”
 
Mandler launched Jason Scott in 2013, and the menswear brand is currently stocked by Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, Ron Herman and Trunk Club among others.
