Jean-Paul Gaultier has a new project on the horizon. The French designer, previously enlisted by the likes of Target in 2010 and La Perla for several seasons, will now offer his services to the Swedish brand Lindex.

At first exclusively dedicated to women but now targeting the whole family, the fashion chain has commissioned a capsule collection from the famous designer to celebrate its sixtieth anniversary

While details are yet to be disclosed, the collection spanning ready-to-wear for women and children, accessories and lingerie, should become available in stores on October 8. Intended as a reinterpretation of the Frenchman’s original bold designs, Jean-Paul Gaultier’s capsule for Lindex will be sold at affordable prices on the brand’s international online store as well as in its 470 stores located in sixteen countries.

Since its launch in 1954 in Sweden, Lindex has gone on to open stores in the rest of Scandinavia, Baltic countries, Eastern Europe, the Balkans, the UK and the Middle East.

The collection will also be distinguished by being employed in the fight against breast cancer with 10% of proceeds donated to research.
