Jenny Bird partners with Far + Wide Collective

Canadian contemporary jewelry designer Jenny Bird announced on Wednesday a partnership with Far + Wide Collective.

Together they have created a collection of fashion-forward, handcrafted pieces designed by Jenny, and produced by the artisans at Turquoise Mountain, in Afghanistan. In turn, the artisans received strategic guidance, and product development support to strengthen and scale their businesses.

The collection contains 43 pieces in 11 different styles, mixing Jenny Bird’s classic silhouettes, with bohemian detailing.

“This collection is not solely about fashion,” says Jenny Bird, creative director of Jenny Bird. “It’s about shaping economies and empowering people who do not have access to education and whose lives will be positively altered by the training received.”

Far + Wide Collective partners with artisans in post-conflict and emerging economies, to give shoppers access to authentic styles.
