Judith & Charles opens pop-up in Toronto

Canadian womenswear brand Judith & Charles is expanding its retail presence in Toronto with the opening of a new pop-up boutique at Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Canada’s most productive mall.

The approximately 2,000-square-foot pop-up boutique will officially open on March 15 for a six-month period and will carry pieces from the womenswear line. Coinciding with Canada’s 150th birthday, Judith & Charles hopes that the new store will “reinforce the brand’s identity as one of the country’s leading womenswear labels, focused on modern work wear of which 90 percent of the collection is produced in Canada."

During the last twelve months, Yorkdale Shopping Centre has shown increased support for Canadian brands and designers. Most recently, they announced the second edition of the FashionCan pop-up shop, a pop-up dedicated to Canadian designers.

Judith & Charles opened two stores in Toronto in the fall of 2015 at Sherway Gardens and Yorkville Village. The brand equally operates over 10 retail locations nationally and internationally, including in China.

Designed by Judith Richardson and Charles Le Pierrès, Judith & Charles is a womenswear line based in Montreal, Quebec since 1990.

The Yorkdale pop-up will complete Judith & Charles expansion plans for the year.
